Entry: it's amazing Sep 18, 2009

that i’ve already been through 8 weeks of university since coming back to Melbourne – despite all the workload i’m STILL in the holiday mood ...which is apparent in the time i wake up, and the time i actually start walking to class eg. class starts at 9 – set the alarm to 8, snooze for another 10 minutes ...and another 10. class starts at 9, leave room at 8.58 (i live across the road from uni! ah what a luxury). BUT I GET TO CLASS ON TIME MUMMY, AT MOST 5 MINUTES LATE! yes, the family reads this blog too :O point is, university has become such a mundane routine that i’ve lost all the excitement i had in the (first half of the) first semester. and i’m not the only one who feels this way! my friends also feel like second semester is slack-off semester. BUT EVEN WITH THE SLACKING OFF I FINISH MY WORK ON TIME MUMMY!

today is my last day of uni before the mid-semester holiday, and i celebrated this wonderful occasion by sleeping half the day off after coming back from my only morning class. 5 hours to be exact. now i’m having indomee, at 5.30, for lunch. i don’t know about dinner. alex is away at someone’s party, sean is with another bunch of friends, wing is having pilot-party time, and i’m here in jarrel’s place staring at the screen. and jarrel is still sleeping because he hasn’t slept for two days ...i doubt if he’s going to wake up today. hmm maybe i’ll give some uni friends a ring so that i can detach myself from this anti-social piece of technology. but facebook is an exception.

winter officially ended about two weeks ago and it’s now spring! the first week of spring was terrible though, it was raining every day and it was like the wind was throwing crazy fits as well = bad combination. it’s clearing up though, and getting warmer so the shorts have finally found their way out of the cupboard ;) hopefully the weather stays this way during the holidays since we have some plans already for the next two weeks  – the royal melbourne show, mount dandenong, the beach, luna park, and a typical aussie barbeque; sausages and lots of beer! not that i’m a fan of beer but it sounds fun. oh and not forgetting the fact that i can sleep in 0u0

it’s 6.20 now and it’s still bright outside. I LOVE MUCH. it gets dark at around 6.45 but it’s definitely not as depressing as winter when it gets dark at 5. i don’t know what i’m going to do after this post. calculus assignment? or maybe the guitar hmm. i’ve come to a point in my life where the laptop is boring, at least for now. too much time with the boys equals more time on the computer playing games, that’s me included. that said, the latest prince of persia is heaps of fun but the graphics make my laptop laggg! urgh

i can’t wait to fly back to malaysia : ( as much as i adore melbourne nothing beats home. and roti canai. i had a 2 dollar roti prata the other day at this malaysian place and seriously, that’s as cheap as it gets, but it was really good! ohhh how i miss devi’s corner.
