Entry: holidays Sep 25, 2009

so far are great. sleep is good, social life is good, poker luck is good as well. assignments have been put on hold despite the pre-holiday determination to finish them asap: such is the typical procrastination, habits don't seem to change even in university. the weather is unpredictable like kanye west at awards shows, i have a list of things to buy but i'm too afraid to step out in case the day rains on me right after i leave my doorstep like it always does. doesn't help that my tram ticket has expired. and period cramps are a nuisance.

it's already started raining. oh well.

yesterday afternoon we were all like little children at the fair. riding down slides, shooting stars, throwing balls, eagerly trying to win that toy. there were bart and homers, mario and luigis, mushrooms, ducks pandas dragons bears i can't remember them all. and there were the hundreds of different showbags with collector's merchandise or pointless plastic toys or girly magazines or lollies or even batman suits that sadly did not come in our size. wigs and masks, light sabers (which we bought) and lots of other frivolous things you have to spend your money on to make the trip worth it. as much as you want to spend your money wisely like the mature nineteen year old young adult you claim to be there's always the temptation to indulge in the unnecessary because the only time you get to really, really tap into the five-year-old inside you is at the funfair, right? or so i think. but i love my red light saber.

it's still gloomy outside. i don't like :( isn't spring supposed to be all about the sun? the weather forecast says it's still going to be shit weather until monday. i'm still waiting for the beach trip! i'm usually very unenthusiastic about beaches but i just. want. more. sun. given, i have the inability to get a tan, but that is not the point. matahari di mana lu :(

okay, i think some homework time is due, sadly.
